About Equatoria Development Foundation

We find out what matters most to our partners and the young people they serve, and then we help make it happen. Our model combines flexible funding with capacity development services to help our partners realize transformation, youth-driven change.

Our Story

How We Got Started

We began as a small Catholic church community that grew through ministry of the whole of the Lord helping those who were displaced and in need of assistance in whatever means. As our membership grew we gathered resources from well wishers and the business community to spread our kindness further.

Where We Are Now

Through the support of our valued partners and sponsors we have been able to build homes, provide service and security of the children and families in need and have been able to provide much needed food for those who cannot provide for themselves. We are still looking for further assistance as much more still needs to be done within the communities and Africa as a whole.

Helping the volnarable and less fortunate to be able to provide for their families and to build their lives for the betterment of their children and those to come in the future.

Our Mission

To bring development to major African regions facing major difficulties in the areas of childcare, starvation & malnutrition, housing, work & skills development, and young adult development.

Our Vision

To ensure funding meets the needs of the entire African continent to bring Sustainable development within every community and Africa as a whole.

We’ve Raised over $40,000 to Help Homeless Children in Africa

Through the partnership of our valued donors and partners, we have been able to raise over $40,000 to build over 80 homes for families and the homeless and were able to bring food on their tables while providing for a sustainable skills training centre where they learnt new skills to provide for themselves and their loved ones.
